Calif. - Auditude, an online
video management and advertising platform, announced on Wednesday that it has
secured $10.5 million in new funding, led by Redpoint Ventures, with
participation from Greylock Partners.
Palo Alto, Calif.-based Auditude's video fingerprinting technology has been used by MySpace, Warner Bros. Entertainment and MTV to detect authorized and unauthorized examples of copyrighted content, and then also place ads against the videos. The company's video index comprises more than 1.3 billion minutes and hundreds of millions of videos.
