Vancouver,

TeamPages, an online social network for student and amateur sports, announced
on Tuesday that it has raised an undisclosed amount of second round funding,
from investors including Burda Digital Ventures, W Media Ventures, and local
angel investors including former Class Software Solutions CEO Ralph Turfus.
Vancover, B.C.-based TeamPages says that 10,000 teams are now using its online community platform, which lets parents, coaches and athletes keep up to date on games and post photos and statistics. The company will use the funds to further develop its new league and club management software, and expand into larger youth sports associations, leagues and clubs across North America.
