Random House, Simon & Schuster Expand Free E-books on Scribd

San Francisco - Scribd, the provider of a Web application that lets users embed and view text documents on websites and blogs, has partnered with major publishers including Random House and Simon & Schuster to release an expanded number of bestsellers as free e-books, Wired.com reported. The free e-books may be viewed online via Scribd, which claims 50 million unique readers, or downloaded as a PDF
