Mountain View,
Calif. - Google (NASD: GOOG) has added a new "Undo
Send" feature to its popular Gmail email service. Users can enable a
five-second pause between the time they press "Send" and when the
email is actually sent -- enabling them to hit "Undo" and catch
themselves if they realize they have inadvertently sent an email to the wrong
person, or before it was ready to go out. The feature won't retrieve an email
that has already been sent, but functions as a sort of "panic button"
handy in certain instances.
