Baltimore - Urban Communications, an Internet company focused on the African-American market, said that it has launched a new online social network called OurSpace.com. The company said that the site, which previously had been a portal for historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs), has attracted more than 15,000 new users in the past five days. "Over the next few weeks, 500,000-plus users from recent acquisitions will be notified via email that OurSpace.com has opened beyond HBCUs," said Robert Butler, the co-founder and COO of Urban Communications.
