Forty Percent of Facebook Video Uploads Come From Webcams
Los Angeles
- Forty percent of the videos uploaded to Facebook come from personal webcams,
NewTeeVee reports. Some 260,000 videos are uploaded daily to Facebook, 155,000
of them from webcams, Facebook lead video developer Chris Putnam told
NewTeeVee. Of the videos uploaded, 25% are considered "high quality,"
and just 2-4% are true HD. The post also notes that, unlike YouTube, Facebook
users can determine exactly who is able to view their video uploads.
