San Bruno, Calif. - Confirming recent reports, Disney (NYSE: DIS) has signed a deal licensing clips of its ESPN and Disney/ABC television programming to Google's (NASD: GOOG) YouTube. Disney will sell ads against the sub-five-minute videos and split revenue with YouTube. The ads will for now consist of displays and video overlays, though Variety notes that Disney is expected to eventually add pre-roll ads.
