Calif. - TubeMogul, a provider of
Web video distribution and analytics services, has raised $3 million in first
round funding, led by Trinity Ventures, NewTeeVee reported.
Founded in 2006, Emeryville, Calif.-based TubeMogul offers content producers a video distribution platform to syndicate their videos across the Web. Customers include the White House, Universal McCann, CBS Interactive, Warner Bros. and Revision3. The company also provides integrated analytics on where, when, and how often the videos are viewed. TubeMogul has now raised a total of $5.2 million in venture capital.
