San Francisco - Conde Nast's Wired.com, the website
affiliated with WIRED magazine, has laid off three full-time staffers and five contract
workers, CNET News.com reported, citing Wired.com editor-in-chief Evan Hansen's
Twitter feed. Those no longer with the site include Eliot Van Buskirk, who
penned the site's Listening Post blog, and managing editor Leander Kahney,
sources told CNET.
