EMI Debuts Your SoundCheck "Music Research" Web Community

London - Major record label EMI has launched a beta test of a new online community called Your SoundCheck, which will offer fans of the label's artists free access to pre-release content and encourage them to provide ratings, Hypebot reported. "Your response goes directly to the heart of one of the world's leading music companies," reads a description on the service's website.

Enthused by the possibility that EMI will stop harrassing the police into dealing with its leaks, I tried this site out...clicked the 'join' link and got "The system has encountered an error with your request. Please try again later." Way to go, EMI. If you can't join them, beat them.

yay for EMI, love loads of bands on their label I heard they were using Vision Critical's Sparq software for this community. It pretty cool with its visual questions and all. http://www.visioncritical.com/
