Cupertino, Calif. - Apple (NASD: AAPL) is expected to include a chip supporting the low-power 802.11n wireless standard on the next version of its iPod touch and iPhone, which would increase network speed and reception range, Apple Insider reported. The devices are also rumored to include an FM transmitter, which would allow streaming of songs directly to an FM radio, as well as reception of FM radio signals for music, sports and real-time traffic.
