- Major label EMI Music and Apple Corps, the Beatles' record label, announced
on Tuesday that the Beatles' entire original catalog will be released in
digitally remastered format on CD on Sept. 9. That same day, "The Beatles:
Rock Band" music video game from MTV Networks will go on sale. A statement
from the companies said that "discussions regarding the digital
distribution of the catalogue will continue. There is no further information
available at this time."
