- Tribal Nova, a developer of family-friendly virtual worlds and educational
games, announced on Thursday that it has raised $2.5 million in new financing,
from iNovia Capital and ID Capital.
Montreal-based Tribal Nova develops online educational games and virtual worlds targeting 3-12 year olds in the U.S., French and Canadian markets. The company has created gaming services for media partners including PBS, CBS and France's Bayard Jeunesse. Tribal Nova will use the funds to expand into new international markets, as well as to support its new KidStudio virtual world.
