- Amazon.com (NASD: AMZN) on Wednesday announced the availability of HD movies and TV
episodes from its Amazon Video On Demand service. More than 500 titles are
available for viewing either on a PC, or on television via set-tops or
broadband-connected TVs from partners including TiVo, Roku, Sony and Panasonic.
HD movie rentals cost between $3.99 and $4.99, while HD TV episodes are available
for purchase for $2.99 each.
