- Media6Degrees, a provider of social media marketing tools, announced on
Tuesday that it has raised $9.8 million in its first round of venture capital
financing, led by Venrock.
Other investors included U.S. Venture Partners,
Contour Venture Partners, Coriolis Ventures and several angel investors.
New
York-based Media6Degrees "maps the social graph" to provide marketers
with customized audiences.
The company has launched campaigns for 50
advertisers to date.
