Apple Allows Nine Inch Nails iPhone Application UpdateAuthored by Mark Hefflinger on May 8, 2009 - 12:37pm.
Cupertino,
Calif. - Apple (NASD: AAPL) has allowed a
previously-rejected update to the Nine Inch Nails iPhone application to be
issued, CNET News.com reports. The update was reportedly originally rejected
due to explicit lyrics featured in the band's album "The Downward
Spiral," which was included in the update. Reznor angrily responded on
Twitter and his website, goading Apple to "think your policies through and
for fuck's sake get your app approval scenario together." CNET reported
that no changes were made to the version that was just approved.
