New York - OLX, a free
online classifieds site popular outside of the U.S., where Craigslist is the
most-popular provider, has raised $5 million in new funding from Nexus Capital
India, TechCrunch reported.
New York-based OLX provides an online classifieds service in nearly 90 countries, including Spain, India, Portugal, Mexico and China. The company has raised a total of $28.5 million in funding to date. OLX will reportedly use the new investment for acquisitions, site improvements, global expansion and marketing efforts.
