Reston, Va. – Internet audience measurement firm comScore released its monthly analysis of the U.S. search market on Monday, that shows Americans conducted 14.8 billion searches in April, a 3% gain over March.
Google Sites (NASD: GOOG) led the U.S. search market during the month with 64.2% of the searches conducted, followed by Yahoo (NASD: YHOO) Sites (20.4%), Microsoft (NASD: MSFT) Sites (8.2%), Ask Network (NASD: IACI) (3.8%) and AOL (NYSE: TWX) (3.4%).
