StockTwits Gets $800K to Follow Investor Chatter on Twitter

New York - StockTwits, a service that aggregates conversations about stock trading taking place on the Twitter microblogging service, has raised $800,000 in new funding from True Ventures, All Things D reports.

The company previously raised $800,000 last fall in an angel round prior to launch.

StockTwits plans to monetize its service with advertising, and through publishing newsletters or blogs on behalf of StockTwits users.
