Former MySpace Execs Land $10 Million for New Venture

Los Angeles - A trio of former MySpace executives has landed $10 million in venture capital for an as-yet-unnamed new venture, from investors including August Capital and Redpoint Ventures, TechCrunch reported.

Former MySpace COO Amit Kapur, SVP of product strategy Steve Pearman, and VP of technology Jim Benedetto are reportedly working on a project "targeting the message board/Internet forum space with technology that aggregates content and serves advertising against it," according to TechCrunch.
