- The Box, an Israel-based producer of multi-platform entertainment and
advertising content, announced on Thursday that it has received an investment
of "several million dollars" from Greylock Partners.
Founded in 2003, The Box has created cross platform new media campaigns for brands including Nike, Coca Cola, Doritos and Disney. Original content projects include the 30-minute animated series "CelebZ," where viewers can create 25% of the show's content using The Box's online tools. The company will use the funds for international expansion, and plans to open an office in Los Angeles as well as ramp up activity in London and Paris.
