Qualcomm's Mobile TV Service to Go Nationwide This Week

San Diego - Qualcomm (NASD: QCOM) announced on Wednesday that its FLO TV mobile TV service will become available nationwide this week, following the transition to all-digital TV broadcasting on Friday, which will free up broadband spectrum for its dedicated network. FLO will become available immediately after the transition in 15 new markets, and eventually a total of 39 new markets -- for an added potential 200 million new customers by the end of 2009.
