- The Associated Press has announced plans to begin syndicating articles
published by non-profit watchdog and investigative journalism sources for free
to its 1,500 member newspapers. The six-month pilot project, which kicks off
July 1, will initially provide broader distribution to articles published by
the Center for Investigative Reporting, the Center for Public Integrity, the
Investigative Reporting Workshop and ProPublica.
