Sega Names Tsurumi Head of Global Video Game Business

- Sega of America and Sega Europe on Thursday announced that Naoya Tsurumi, the
longstanding leader of the company's video game business, will assume worldwide
responsibility for Sega's consumer business, which includes its Japanese,
American and European units. After four years, Sega of America president and
COO Simon Jeffrey has resigned to pursue other interests. Meanwhile, Mike Hayes
was promoted to the new position of president and COO of both Sega of America,
and Sega Europe.
