Nokeena Networks Lands $6.5 Million for Video Delivery

Santa Clara, Calif. - Nokeena Networks, a provider of digital video delivery equipment, announced on Thursday that it has raised $6.5 million in a new round of funding, led by Mayfield Fund with participation from previous backers.

Founded in 2008, Santa Clara, Calif.-based Nokeena says its Media Flow Director server can lower the cost of video delivery for customers including Break Media.

The company will use the new funds to ramp up its marketing and sales initiatives.
