TV Compass Raises $6.5 Million for Video Software, Services

Chicago - TV Compass, a provider of video software and services for the Web and mobile devices, has raised about $6.5 million in new funding, PaidContent reported, citing a regulatory filing.

A total of nine investors participated in the round.

Chicago-based TV Compass' TV 2.0 Platform provides enhanced TV and other applications for mobile smartphones, personal Wi-Fi digital media players, network-connected TVs, home media appliances, and other wireless consumer devices.

Customers have included the BBC, ESPN and Macrovision.
