Tokyo - Sony (NYSE: SNE) is mulling the addition of cell phone functionality to its PSP
handheld video game system, Reuters reported, citing the local Nikkei daily.
The
company reportedly will create a project team as early as next month that will
explore melding the PSP with a handset from its Sony Ericsson joint venture.
Sony declined to comment on the report for Reuters.
