Mountain View, Calif. - Google (NASD: GOOG) announced on Monday that it is taking the "beta" label off of a number of its applications, including Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Docs and Google Talk, in a bid "to remove any doubt that Apps is a mature product suite." The company said in a blog post that the move is intended to help attract large enterprises to use its services.
