Redwood City,
Calif. - Qik, the provider of a
mobile video streaming service, announced on Thursday that it has raised $5.5
million in new venture capital, from Quest Venture Partners, CampVentures and
individual investors.
Founded in 2007, Redwood City, Calif.-based
Qik's service enables users to stream video from their cell phones on the Web.
The company previously raised $4 million, from investors including Marc
Andreessen and Mark Benioff.
