Idaho - Google (NASD: GOOG) CEO Eric Schmidt,
who also holds a seat on the board of directors at Apple (NASD: AAPL), said that he plans to
discuss that position with the company in light of Google's announcement this
week that it is developing an operating system for netbooks, The Wall Street
Journal reported. Schmidt made the remark during the Sun
Valley conference on Thursday.The Federal Trade Commission is reportedly talking with Google over the potential for conflict of interest with regard to Schmidt's dual roles at Google and Apple. Schmidt has reportedly recused himself from discussions at Apple concerning the iPhone, as Google now offers the Android mobile phone operating system.
