TweetDeck Lands $2 Million for Twitter Application

Royal Tunbridge Wells, U.K. - TweetDeck, the developer of an application that lets users access the Twitter microblogging service, has raised about $2 million in new funding, TechCrunch reported.

Information on investors was not disclosed.

U.K.-based TweetDeck is available for Windows, Mac and Linux platforms, and launched an iPhone application last week.

The service lets users separate the various Twitter feeds they are following into separate columns, as well as search Twitter.
