Cupertino,
Calif. - Apple (NASD: AAPL) said on Tuesday
that customers have now downloaded more than 1.5 billion applications from its
App Store in a year. The store, which works with Apple's iPhone and iPod touch
devices, now includes more than 65,000 apps, with more than 100,000 developers
in the company's iPhone Developer Program.
