Universal to Add iPhone Control to Some Blu-ray Movies

Universal City, Calif. - Universal Studios Home Entertainment said on Monday that it plans to offer Apple (NASD: AAPL) iPhone and iPod touch-enabled features on a number of upcoming Blu-ray movie releases. The features, to be enabled via App Store applications, will let iPhone owners control interactive content within the films as they watch them. Users will also be able to access bonus Blu-ray content and download it to an iPhone or iPod touch for viewing on-the-go.
