YouTube Engineer Working on 3D Video Project

San Bruno, Calif. - An engineer at Google's (NASD: GOOG) YouTube is currently working on a means of displaying 3D videos on the site, Search Engine Roundtable reports. An employee named Pete is working on the concept as a "20% project," where Google employees can use 20% of their time working on side projects. The project is still in early stages, but a sample video is available below to users with 3D glasses handy.
