New York - Live Gamer, a
provider of virtual goods and currency platforms for online game publishers, announced
on Wednesday that it has acquired N-Cash, a micro-transaction firm based in Korea.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. New York-based Live Gamer said that Samsung-backed N-Cash has completed 150 million micro-transactions, and is currently handling 56 million registered users. The company will provide Live Gamer with new publisher-to-player transaction capabilities. Live Gamer customers include Acclaim, Funcom, GoPets, NHN USA, IAC's InstantAction and Sony Online Entertainment.
