Cambridge, Mass.
- Twenty-five percent of U.S. online consumers watch TV online, up from 20% a
year ago, according to a survey from market research firm Forrester.
Further,
13% of these consumers watch TV shows online at least once a month, compared
with 9% who reported the same in 2008.
NewTeeVee noted that Forrester attempted
to identify whether respondents specifically watched broadcast television
programs online, but cautioned that some may have interpreted the question to include
original online productions.
