Music Discovery, Marketing Site OurStage Lands $3 Million

Boston - OurStage, a provider of music discovery and online marketing services for musicians, has raised $3 million of an expected $6 million second round of funding, PaidContent reported.

Boston-based OurStage lets artists upload their tracks to the site, and provides marketing services for musicians and concert venues, in addition to a music discovery service for Web users.

Chief executive Ben Campbell told PaidContent that the new funding should bring the company to profitability in 2010.

OurStage has now raised a total of $20 million in funding.
