Radiohead to Ditch Album Format for Digital Singles, EPsAuthored by Mark Hefflinger on August 12, 2009 - 12:19pm.
New York
- Radiohead, the British band famous for releasing its latest album, "In
Rainbows," online in a pay-what-you-want model, told Believer magazine
that it does not plan to release another standard full-length album, and will
instead offer downloadable singles and multi-track EPs, All Things D reported.
"None of us want to go into that creative hoo-ha of a long-play record again. Not straight off," singer Thom Yorke told Believer. "I mean, it's just become a real drag. It worked with 'In Rainbows' because we had a real fixed idea about where we were going. But we've all said that we can't possibly dive into that again. It'll kill us."
