Calif. - Polyvore, a
user-generated online fashion magazine, has raised $5.6 million in its second
round of funding.
New investor Matrix Partners joined previous backers Benchmark Capital and Harrison Metal Capital. Founded in 2007 by a number of ex-Yahoo employees, Mountain View, Calif.-based Polyvore lets users mix and match products from any online store to create outfits and fashion collages, which may then be embedded on blogs and social network profiles. The company, which counts over 4 million unique monthly visitors and 150 million monthly pageviews, will use the new funds to accelerate growth and expand its sales and engineering teams.
