New York - As rumored last week, Sirius XM (NASD: SIRI) on Wednesday unveiled the SkyDock, a docking station for Apple's (NASD: AAPL) iPhone an iPod touch that turns the devices into satellite radio receivers.

The $119 add-on, slated for release in the fall, will be accompanied by a free application for the iPhone/iPod touch that allows for control of the XM tuner.

Listeners will be able to tag songs heard on XM for later purchase from Apple's iTunes Store.

The SkyDock will be compatible with first- and second-generation iPod touch, as well as all three iPhone models, running iPhone OS 3.0 or later.

Users will also need to subscribe to an XM Radio service plan.
