Finke's Site Renamed Deadline.com; Coverage to Expand

Los Angeles - Mail.com Media Corporation (MMC), the media company that operates Movieline.com, HollywoodLife and Nikki Finke's DeadlineHollywoodDaily blog, has revamped Finke's site, which is now known as simply Deadline.com.

MMC poached Finke's site from the LA Weekly in June. The company also recently hired former Us Weekly editor Bonnie Fuller to run its HollywoodLife site.

MMC chief executive Jay Penske told All Things D he is close to hiring a journalist to cover the New York media scene for Deadline.com.

He also plans to create city-based blogs in the Deadline.com vertical for London, Paris, Mumbai, Hong Kong and Sydney over the next year.
