RightNow Acquires Corporate Social Media Firm HiveLive

Bozeman, Mont. - RightNow, a provider of customer relationship management (CRM) software, announced on Wednesday that it has acquired HiveLive, a developer of social networking tools for businesses, for $6 million.

Montana-based RightNow provides its CRM software to some 1.900 corporations and government agencies.

The company said it plans to integrate the HiveLive social media platform to boost its offering for customer support, engagement and loyalty.
