VeriVue Secures $20 Million for Video Distribution Hardware

Westford, Mass. - VeriVue, a maker of video distribution and delivery equipment, has raised $20 million in a third round of funding, led by Sigma Partners, VentureWire reported.

Since its founding in 2006, the company has raised about $85 million in total, from backers including Spark Capital, Matrix Partners and Comcast Interactive Capital.

Westford, Mass.-based VeriVue manufactures media switches used by cable TV providers and content delivery networks to deliver video content to a range of devices.
