Shutterfly Acquires Photo-sharing Software Firm Tiny Pictures

Redwood City, Calif. - Shutterfly (NASD: SFLY), a provide of personal digital photo printing and publishing services, announced that it has acquired Tiny Pictures, a developer of applications and services for photo and video sharing.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

San Francisco-based Tiny Pictures' flagship product, Radar, allows users to share camera phone photos and videos in real-time.

The company was backed by Draper Fisher Jurvetson and Mohr Davidow Ventures.
