Palo Alto, Calif. - Zoove, a provider of mobile marketing services in the form of mobile short codes, announced that it has raised $13 million in its third round of funding.

Investors included Highland Capital Partners, Worldview Technology Partners and Cardinal Capital Partners.

Palo Alto, Calif.-based Zoove's platform lets marketers engage consumers via mobile phones through a unique short code that is entered like a phone number.

In return, consumers receive promotional text messages, links to Web pages, videos, or images, or product information downloaded to the phone.

The company will use the funds to support the rollout of its service across major U.S. carriers.
