Redmond, Wash. - Nintendo plans to knock $50 off the price of its popular Wii
video game console next week, which would bring the cost to $200, according to
reports from Engadget and Kotaku. The price cut will reportedly take effect on
Sept. 27 at Best Buy and other retailers. Nintendo is the only one of the three
big console makers to have not yet cut the price of its current-generation game
console.
