San Ramon,
Calif. - TargetCast Networks, a
provider of out-of-home digital advertising delivery services, announced on Wednesday
that it has raised $6.5 million in its second round of funding, from Claremont
Creek Ventures and Draper Fisher Jurvetson.
San Ramon,
Calif.-based TargetCast, which last week announced its acquisition of
out-of-home digital ad network Ripple TV, said the funding will be used to
expand its ad network, which is comprised of digital TV screens in retail
locations, as well as to cultivate strategic partnerships and build an internal
ad sales team.
The company has now raised a total of $12.8 million to date.
