VMIX Lands $2 Million for Online Video Services

San Diego - VMIX, a provider of online video and media management services, announced on Thursday that it has raised $2 million in a Series B-1 round of financing.

Previous backers Enterprise Partners, Mission Ventures, JK&B Capital and ATA Ventures participated in the investment round, which will be used to accelerate growth plans and expand into new markets.

San Diego-based VMIX provides white-label video services to customers including Tribune, McClatchy Interactive, Penguin Group and The CW.
