New York
- Yext, a provider of local Internet advertising services, has raised $25
million in a new round of funding led by Institutional Venture Partners.
Previous backer Sutter Hill Ventures also participated in the funding, which will be used to accelerate the growth of the company's pay-per-action phone calls. Founded in 2006, New York-based Yext offers an online search index of local businesses, and its YextCalls service sends local advertisers pay-per-action phone calls, where businesses are only charged for relevant calls.
