AEG Acquires Webcast Producer Incited Media

Los Angeles - AEG, an entertainment and sporting events promoter and venue owner, announced on Monday that it has acquired Incited Media, a provider of webcast management, production and media services.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

AEG will merge Incited with its AEG Productions unit to create AEG Digital Media, which will provide digital media service for distribution across television, mobile and broadband platforms.

Founded in 2001, Incited has handled streaming for events including the Democratic National Convention, Live Earth, Live 8 and YouTube Live.

AEG Productions president Michael Goldfine will head the newly created AEG Digital Media, while Incited co-founders Joe Einstein and Ben Rolling will become vice president of production and vice president of development, respectively.

What about John Petrocelli? I saw another artcle saying John will be VP of Sales and Development...will they have two VP's of Developement?
